This month's theme: Bordeaux and Beyond - The Wines of Southwest France
This seminar will explore the historic vineyards of Bordeaux alongside the diverse and lesser-known appellations of Southwest France. We will discover how geography, grape varieties, and tradition shape the character of these wines. Through guided tasting, we’ll journey from classic Bordeaux blends to distinctive regional specialties, gaining insight into the terroirs and traditions that make Southwest France one of the world’s most exciting wine regions.
AIWC club member Beth Ann Dahan, long-time wine educator and vineyard owner will lead us through a tasting of a variety of wines. All wine lovers welcome – no experience or prerequisite required!
The cost of this course will be CHF 15-20 to cover the cost of the wines. Please bring this to the class and pay directly to Beth Ann.
The Wine Tasting Seminars will take place at different times over the course of the year. Each class is a stand-alone class.
Future seminars might include, but not limited to: New World vs Old World wines, Fortified Wines, Regional Wine Seminars, and Food Wine Pairing.
