Our next adventure hike will be to Gorge de l’Areuse, one of the most beautiful gorge hikes in Switzerland. Note: instead of Monday, this hike will go on a Tuesday and as with all Adventure hikes, takes nearly the entire day due to longer train rides.
The hike is about 11-12 km, takes about 3 hours, maybe a little more, and requires good walking shoes or boots and hiking sticks. Total elevation gain is about 100 meters, and a descent of about 400 meters, with some steps or stairways to help on the steeper parts. The last climb is up to the Boudry train station.
