This month's theme: Food Wine Pairing
One of the most common questions that is asked during the AIWC wine seminars is: “What food would you serve with this wine?” Join us for our next seminar, “Food & Wine Pairing” to learn which wines pair well with various types of food. We will learn about the rules of food wine pairing and how cooking methods and sauces affect pairing. We will then taste several types of wine and pair them with various foods to see which combinations work and which don’t.
AIWC club member Beth Ann Dahan, long-time wine educator and vineyard owner will lead us through a tasting of a variety of wines. All wine lovers welcome – no experience or prerequisite required!
The cost of this course will be CHF 15-20 to cover the cost of the wines. Please bring this to the class and pay directly to Beth Ann.
The Wine Tasting Seminars will take place at different times over the course of the year. Each class is a stand-alone class.
Future seminars might include, but not limited to: New World vs Old World wines, Fortified Wines, Regional Wine Seminars, and Food Wine Pairing.
