AIWC Hike Leader Training @ 8, 9

Are you interested in leading a hike for one of AIWC’s hiking groups? We invite you to join us for a session lasting about 2 hours on Tuesday, March 19 at 10 AM at the club to learn the ropes. We will talk about how to use maps, guidebooks, and hiking apps to find trails and routes in Geneva canton and further afield, of varying lengths, and the benefits of scouting route in advance. We will also review public transit schedules, weather considerations, and safety issues. And we will share tips on how to make sure everyone is welcome and has fun on the hike!
