Fribourg

We’ll be hiking within the city of Fribourg.  We'll meet at Gare Cornavin for the 8:59 train direction Luzern (Platform 4) to Fribourg.  From the gare we will start our hike around the city and visit:  Chapel of Lorette,  the Cathedral, the Berne and Middle bridge, the Convent, the Funicular etc …. (basically around the city).  Then we’ll have a nice lunch (I’ll make reservations) then walk to the Villars Chocolate Café where we can buy chocolate and have a nice chocolat chaud.  We’ll then head back to the train station and go back to Geneva..

The hike is on paved roads both uphill and downhill.  The weather will be mostly cloudy at 6-7 degrees.  Bring a bottle of water.
