Retreat Day! All members welcome!
Michelle & I are delighted you’re joining us for our ‘Spring Retreat Day’ of Mindfulness and Yoga in the AIWC Clubrooms based around simple guided mindfulness and yoga practices. The day is themed around ‘Transition from Winter Stillness to Spring Energy’ and we hope to have you dancing out the door at the end of the day!
No previous experience of yoga or mindfulness is necessary as we will start where we are.
To ensure we’re ready to go on Saturday morning here is an outline of what to expect and what you should bring.
We’ll start promptly with introductions, some ‘house-keeping’ and together we’ll set our ground rules for the day.
During the morning and afternoon there’ll be a mix of practices with breaks for coffee / tea and lunch.
We shall finish the day with a closing ceremony to complete your experience.
What to bring?
If you prefer you can bring your own yoga mat, meditation cushion, blanket, blocks and yoga strap
We welcome you to bring an open and curious attitude to allow the day to unfold.
