Garden Visits. @ Château de Vuillerens

Join us on the 3rd Thursday of each month as we explore private gardens around Switzerland and neighboring France.  Selected gardens are generally within a 2hr driving radius of Geneve.  We have carefully chosen private gardens (ie not public parks) classified ‘exceptional’.

Thursday, 18 August - Garden Visit - Chateau de Vuillerens

Join us as we return to the immaculately manicured gardens of the Chateau de Vuillerens ( https://chateauvullierens.ch/ ). Visiting in summer will enable us to check out their expansive collection of hemerocallus/daylilies. But the estate has lots to offer with 9 themed gardens, 85 sculptures & wine tasting offered in gift shop.  Entry cost of Chf 15pp.  Afterwards we can relax over coffee or light lunch in their courtyard cafe. 1. Garden Visits  is open to all AIWC members.

2. Children and pets are not allowed to participate.

3. Visits are generally easily accessible by public transit. 

4. Anyone wishing to join Garden Visits must register on the Website or the App for each outing.

5. In the interest of safety, it may be necessary to limit the size of the group - this is at the discretion of the Activity Leader

6. Participants are responsible for their own safety and wellbeing and must follow the instructions provided by the Activity Leader.

7. The AIWC declines responsibility for the loss of personal property.
