Join us on the 3rd Thursday of each month as we explore private gardens around Switzerland and neighboring France. Selected gardens are generally within a 2hr driving radius of Geneve. We have carefully chosen private gardens (ie not public parks) classified ‘exceptional’.
La Gara, Jussy-
Join us on our first garden visit of the year as we explore the Domaine of la Gara with its topiary parkland, formal border garden, orchard, potager & last remaining 18century canal all nestled in the canton of Geneva.
Cost of Chf 25pp to be paid at the gate includes guided tour & wine tasting. Please bring contribution for shared picnic in the grounds afterwards.

15 May - 16 June 2022. Fetes des Jardins 2022 Swiss Romand. During the month a large number of private gardens will open to the public on selected days. We will choose the best & aim to visit them all over the month. Prepare for multiple garden visits this month - dates & gardens to be announced

Garden Visits is open to all AIWC members.

Children are not allowed to participate.

Visits are generally easily accessible by public transit.

Anyone wishing to join Garden Visits must register on the Website or the App for each outing.

In the interest of safety, it may be necessary to limit the size of the group - this is at the discretion of the Activity Leader
