What is Mindfulness?
Mindfulness is a practice of paying attention in the moment, bringing attention to everything within the mind's present moment experience.
Why practice Mindfulness?
Scientific research of mindfulness interventions suggests these attention practices may benefit mental and physical well-being by building mental resilience; managing stress, chronic pain, anxiety, depression; social connection; emotional balance; empathy; insight; fear modulation; intuition and morality.
What to expect at your Time-out Tuesday Mindfulness Break…
Come and join a short practice session as a way to start or develop your practice and share this enriching experience with others. Note, these are drop-in practice sessions and not a full mindfulness course.
Each session commences with arriving and checking in followed by a short guided practice with the option of sharing your experience before closing.
