Fall Fundraiser - Fundraising for Foyer Arabelle Women's Shelter and Creche

Fundraising Dinner at Hotel Metropole, Geneva 

The AIWC is proud to announce its support of Foyer Arabelle as part of  our Community Volunteering

With a mission to provide support to any woman, with or without children, who is temporarily in difficulty, Foyer Arabelle is the only association in Geneva that provides both shelter and a crèche, allowing mothers and children to stay together. In 2020, the Foyer hosted 28 women and 40 children representing 20 nationalities. The majority of women were fleeing domestic violence.

COVID-19 has put more economic and psychological pressure on fragile families and domestic violence has soared, putting additional strain on womens’ shelters. 

The American International Womens’ Club of Geneva in collaberation with the American International Club, has committed to raise funds this year to contribute to this important project.

With your help, we aim to make a substantial difference in the lives of the children who depend on the crèche for safety, learning and playing.
