Volunteer Service
AIWC members with fluent French often volunteer to work with
Geneva-based charities on a regular basis of a few hours each week or
month.
Others, whose French is less fluent, or whose many commitments prevent
them offering regular help week by week, volunteer to help on specific
occasions in activities such as selling flags or manning stalls at
charity bazaars. From time to time a charity or non-profit organisation
asks for helpers for a one-off specified project with a fixed time
limit.
Club
Contacts
We are in the process of rejuvenating the Club Contact process and we
need your help. The Club Contact is a current AIWC member who
volunteers to serve as a resource and liaison for members new to the
organization. We're hoping the revised procedures will make this
activity both fun and rewarding. The success of this project is
dependent in large measure on the availability of members who agree to
serve as Club Contacts. If you're interested in helping to assure that
new members receive a warm AIWC welcome, please contact AIWC Office for
