Writers
Workshop
Sorry, we have now
reached capacity and cannot accommodate new members at this time. For
anyone who would still like to join a Writers’ Workshop, we may start
an evening group. Please contact Jane Cadieux or sign up at the Welcome
Desk. This group could start Wednesday, April 9, at 19:00. See “Evening
Events” for details. Minimum participation: 10
Have you ever written down your dreams? Would you like to turn your own
experiences into stories, publish a story or poem? Do youlove to
write? The Writers’ Workshop is for any Club member who is interested
in pursuing the art of writing and story-telling (in English). Assigned
topics allow the writer to tell a story while sharpening technical
skills, style and voice in fiction, non-fiction and poetry. We also
organize informal readings and potluck lunches throughout the year and
compile our own anthology, Tales and Poems, from our best works.
Regular attendance is encouraged. Contact Jane Cadieux at jane_cadieux@ yahoo.com or
