Welcome Newcomers!
It's Our Priority to Help You Feel Welcome

The American International Women's Club offers several programs and activities especially for newcomers. Please click on the titles for more information about their various schedules.

AIWC Welcome Desk
If you enjoy meeting people, have some time to contribute to Club activities, and would like to give a helping hand to other newcomers to Geneva, then the Welcome Desk is the place for you. As the "front desk" of the AIWC, it is the first point of contact for the public and potential new members. You will be part of a dedicated group of volunteers who keep the Desk running Monday through Friday, year round. It is a great way to get involved and learn about Geneva life. To join, just call the Club and ask for the Welcome Desk Co-ordinator.

Newcomer's Welcome Coffee
All members are welcome! These occasions are held to welcome new members and to help them get to know the Club and some of its members. If you would like to have an opportunity to share your experiences of the Club and to meet new friends, please come along to the next Welcome Coffee.

The AIWC Hotline is a free, weekly e-mail information service whereby questions can be easily answered and problems quickly solved by drawing on fellow members’ collective knowledge and experience of living and working in Geneva.

The Hotline gets you the answers you need to make things happen and it also includes a paid Classifieds section (21 CHF for one ad in three successive issues) to help you get rid of items you no longer need. Take the tiring leg-work out of getting to know Geneva and enjoy this valuable resource offered exclusively to Club members.

Registering is easy, just e-mail us at: aiwchotline@gmail.com or call Catherine Mills at 022 343 63 52.
