Administrative Activities

The Courier, Magazine of the AIWC
Want to get involved with our Magazine?

Your new Courier team is now in place and working hard to keep up the standards of this excellent monthly magazine that you have come to expect.

We have a remarkable mix of relevant professional skills and amateur enthusiasms which will build an effective team over the next few months.

We are not, however, a complete team. We will welcome any member who would like to contribute ideas, articles, photos, proofreading or anything else that may be helpful! We are very keen to encourage as many members as possible to feel part of the Courier experience - it's a wonderful way of contributing to the club, stretching your skills a little and meeting a nice bunch of people!

Are you a little worried about writing something in English? Please don't let that stop you from contributing an idea or an article - we can help you polish it and prepare it for publication. We will be glad to help.

Office Helpers
There are many opportunities to assist the Club secretary with phones, general office duties and showing prospective members around the Club.

Calling all accountants and other office personnel:
The AIWC needs your help - even if you can only spare 5 hours a month! Many of these jobs will allow you to keep your CV current while learn new skills.

Welcome Desk
From Monday through Friday, AIWC members volunteer to serve at the Welcome Desk. As the first point of contact with the Club for the public and potential new members, the volunteers provide information on Club activities, offer friendly advice to newcomers to Geneva, and facilitate connections with Club activities. Work on the Desk is a great way to meet people, join in activities, and become part of the community. To join, call the Club and ask for the Welcome Desk Co-ordinator.
